According to UPS, my Body Shop package was delivered at 5:36 PM…
…But I didn’t see it anywhere. So I asked my dad about it.
“I haven’t seen anything. No footprints in the snow.”
Me: “What?! What if it’s tied to the gate at the end of the driveway?! What if somebody has stolen it?! My poor beauty products!”
Dad: “Just wait until tomorrow and we’ll go looking for it! It’s probably out there somewhere.”
Me: “FINE.”
I probably should have been a good child and waited like he said… But instead, I decided to take my thirteen year old sister and I on an evening adventure. We wrapped ourselves up and sneaked outside, running down our long-ass driveway with only a kitchen knife and heavy flashlight to defend ourselves against coyotes and creepers. We found my package wrapped up in plastic right by our mailbox - THANK THE BEAUTY GODS it was still there.
